Our Venue
Our Retreat venue is a beautiful bed & breakfast property in the quaint town of Volcano on the lush tropical side of the Big Island of Hawai’i. We have secured exclusive use of the entire property for our retreat (that means we won’t be sharing it with any other guests – Yay!). The bed & breakfast has several private cottages as well as three main buildings with bedrooms in each building.
Each of the individual cottages as well as the shared buildings are decorated in beautiful Hawaiian style. The cottages have private kitchenettes and the main buildings have a shared kitchen area.
You have the option of selecting a private room or a shared room. There are a limited number of private rooms and cottages and those will be on a first-come, first-served basis. That means that if you want a private cottage, you’ll want to register as soon as possible because they will go fast.
If you are coming with a friend, please let us know so we can be sure to assign you to the same room or building!
Nearest Airport
The nearest airport is Hilo International Airport (ITO). Volcano is approximately 30 minutes from Hilo International and car rentals are available onsite at the airport. However we are providing group transportation for all of our excursions, so you may not need a car once you arrive at the venue. Details on other transportation options between the airport and the venue will be provided as we get closer to the Retreat dates.
Arrival & Departure Dates
Plan to arrive at the venue no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15th.
Since most flights depart Hilo airport mid-morning, we have planned a very early day on Sunday (see the Program page for the Retreat schedule) so you can plan to depart anytime after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 18th.
If you wish to arrive earlier or stay later, please let us know as we may be able to secure discounted rates for additional nights at the venue.
